It should be an interesting encounter between the defedning champion Novak Djokovic and the British no.1 and Olympic winner Andy Murray. The Serb leads the head to head against Murray with 8-6 and this will be his 9th Grand Slam final appearance, having prevailed 5 times so far.

Murray isn’t a stranger in the Flushing Meadows final either, he has come close to winning it in 2008, only to lose to Federer for the title match.
