PinExt Wimbledon 2012 Mens Draw Quick Analysis

The Wimbledon 2012 Men’s Draw has just been released. In depth Analysis will follow, but here is a quick run down:

First quarter:

Novak Djokovic opens with an interesting match with past French open champion Juan Carlos Ferrero, but is unlikely to be tested until the quarters where he could meet Tomas Berdych or possibly Richard Gasquet if he can rekindle his grass court form from a few year which saw him reach the semi finals.

Second Quarter:

Roger Federer perhaps has the easier draw (on paper) out of the top 4 seeds. Only Isner and Tipsarevic should pose much threat.

Third Quarter:

Andy Murray definitely has the hardest draw to navigate through with the following players in his quarter: Ivo karlovic (possible 2nd round), Baghdatis, Rionic, Cilic, Del Potro and Ferrer,

Fourth Quarter:

A possible 3rd round encounter for Nadal against the in form and rejuvenated Tommy Haas would be a challenge. Tomic and Tsonga (who defeated Federer at last years Championships) could be possible quarter final opponents.

More to follow..
