The Stevegteam was once again in full force at The Boodles Challenge today, enjoying every moment of it. Luckily the rain avoided Stoke Park and despite an occasional chilly breeze, all three matches could be finished without any interruptions.

In the first match of the day, American John Isner defeated Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 7-6  2-6  10-5. This was followed by another three sets encounter, when Croat Marin Cilic overcame Nicolas Almagro of Spain, winning 4-6  6-3  12-10. Last on was world no.14 Juan Monaco, who got a last minute invitation to the event, versus the British rising star Oliver Golding. It was Golding, who surprisingly beat the Argentine in straight sets 6-4  6-3.
