No.1 seed David Ferrer needed only 42 minutes to book his place in the Unicef Open semis in Hertogenbosch, defeating Dutch wild card holder Igor Sijsling 6-0  6-1.

The Spaniard dropped a mere three points on his serve throughout the whole match, setting up a semifinal encounter against Frenchman Benoit Paire, who eliminated Japan’s Tatsuma Ito 6-3  7-5.

Also through is Belgian Xavier Malisse after overcoming Gilles Muller of Luxembourg in three sets 6-3  4-6  6-1.

In the last 4, Malisse will play German qualifier Philipp Petzschner, who ousted Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France 6-4  7-6 (6).
