6th seeded Marin Cilic moved into the semifinals of the AEGON Championships after his opponent Lu Yen-Hsun of Taiwan was forced to retire when trailing 6-4  2-0.

Lu, who had just beaten Janko Tipsarevic a couple of hours before the match against Cilic, showed signs of fatigue and an unfortunate leg injury forced him to pull out of the match against the Croat.

Next up for Cilic will be American Sam Querrey, who eliminated Ivan Dodig of Croatia 7-5  3-6  6-3.

Also through to the semis is former Wimbledon runner-up David Nalbandian, who came back from a set down to beat Belgian Xavier Malisse, winning 4-6  7-6 (2)  6-4.

The Argentine’s opponent in the semis will be Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria, who ousted the no.9 seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa, prevailing 4-6  6-4  6-3.
