Serbia clinched the 2012 World Team Cup title for the second time as they defeated Czech Republic 3-0 in today’s final in Dusseldorf.

Both Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki won their singles matches to secure the trophy for Serbia.

In the first singles match,  Tipsarevic overcame the Czech Tomas Berdych in straight sets, winning 7-5  7-6 (8). It was followed by Troicki’s triumph over Radek Stepanek, when the Serbian came back from a set down to sail to a 2-6  6-4  6-3 victory.

Serbian duo Tipsarevic/Zimonjic then went on to beat Berdych/Cermak, prevailing 6-3  6-1.
