Frenchman Benoit Paire reached his first ATP tour final as he beat no.1 seed Pablo Andujar of Spain 6-3  1-6  6-3 in Saturday’s semis at the Serbia Open in Belgrade.

Paire got off to a better start, but lost his focus in the second set and Andujar took advantage of it to force a decider.

In the final set, the crowd saw only one break of serve and Paire kept his cool to clinch the match after 1 hour and 54 minutes.

Paire will play Italy’s Andreas Seppi for the title. 2nd seed Seppi overcame David Nalbandian of Argentina in three sets 2-6  6-2  7-5.
