Lopez eliminates Tomic, plays Kohlschreiber in Munich SFs

No.2 seed Spaniard Feliciano Lopez moved into the BMW Open semifinals after defeating Australian Bernard Tomic 6-4  6-2.

Lopez serve was working perfectly today and with 14 aces fired, the Spaniard got his revenge for the 2011 Australian Open second round defeat against Tomic.

In Saturday’s semis, Lopez will face German Philipp Kohlschreiber, who beat Australian qualifier Marinko Matosevic 6-0  7-6 (5).

This will be the third semifinal of the year for Kohlschreiber, who won this tournament in 2007.
