Fourth seed Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany captured his second BMW Open title after defeating Croatian Marin Cilic 7-6 (8)  6-3 in Sunday’s final.

The German won this tournament in 2007 and with this year’s win he has got four ATP Tour titles to his name.

Kohlschreiber managed to save 7 out of 8 break points he faced and after 1 hour and 49 minutes, he claimed victory against Cilic for the 5th time out of their 8 meetings.

Cilic got through to the the final by beating Tommy Haas 6-3  6-4 in yesterday’s semis and Kohlschreiber eliminated Feliciano Lopez 6-2  6-7 (4)  6-4.
