Frenchman Richard Gasquet beat the Spanish qualifier Daniel Munoz-de la Nava 7-6 (1)  6-2 to make it to the Estoril Open semifinals.

No.2 seed Gasquet will play another Spaniard Albert Ramos in the Saturday’s semis and will try to match his 2007 result, when he lost to Serbia’s Djokovic in the final.

Ramos, who seems to be on form this year, advanced into the last 4 after defeating Portuguese wild card holder Joao Sousa 6-2  6-3.

The Spaniard has already got one 2012 final appearance to his name as he was a runner-up in Casablanca, losing to Ferrer.
