Davydenko beats Blake, Bellucci loses in Miami

Nikolay Davydenko of Russia beat the American James Blake in the first round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami 4-6  6-4  6-4.

Davydenko, who won the title here in 2008, defeating Nadal in the final, will meet the Indian Wells finalist John Isner in round two.

The Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci lost a bit surprisingly to Frederico Gil of Portugal in straight sets 6-3  6-4. Bellucci seemed to be on form just a week ago, when he lost a three set match to Federer at the Indian Wells Masters.

Gil will face the no.32 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber in the next round.
