Lukas Lacko of Slovakia will play the first tour final of his career, when he meets Mikhail Youzhny in Zagreb on Sunday.

Lacko upset Marcos Baghdatis in the semis, beating him in straight sets 7-5  7-6 (3).

The first set was decided in the 11th game, when Lacko broke Baghdatis’ serve and subsequently held his own to take the set.

It seemed that there was going to be a third set after Baghdatis took a 4-1 lead in the second, but Lacko came storming back and had sealed the match with a 7-3 tiebreak win.

The Slovak will now meet Mikhail Youzhny in Sunday’s final.

For Youzhny, this will be the 18th career final. He booked his final spot after he defeated Michael Berrer of Germany 6-3  6-4.
