Canadian Milos Raonic won the 2nd title of his career, defeating Serbian Janko Tipsarevic in the Chennai Open Final 6-7(4), 7-6(4), 7-6(4).

This was the longest ever match at the Chennai Open and Raonic´s biggest weapon helped him on his way to victory, as he fired 35 aces.

Both players held serve througout the whole match and so the tiebreaks were to decide the faith of the match. World no. 31 Raonic held his nerve in the third set tiebreak and enters the 2012 season with a superb victory.
