World no.4 Andy Murray cruised to victory at the 2012 Brisbane International tournament as he dismissed Alexandr Dolgopolov in the final, winning in straight sets 6-1 6-3.
Two breaks decided the faith of the first set and as Murray stormed to a 4-0 lead in the second set, there was little doubt who would come out victorious in the end.
The Brit played a superb match as his new coach Ivan Lendl watched him to lift the trophy.
Murray will now focus on the upcoming Australian Open, where he reached the final last year, going down to Djokovic 6-4 6-2 6-3.
