Mirnyi/Nestor become Brisbane champs

World no.2 Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor cruised to victory in the Brisbane International doubles final as they overpowered Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner 6-1 6-2 .

The Belarussian-Canadian duo stormed to win the first set after just 24 minutes. After some big serving and very powerful display at the net, they took the second set with a very similar scoreline and secured themselves their fifth title together.

They are the Roland Garros reigning champions.
