The Austrian duo Alexander Peya and Oliver Marach clinched the title in Auckland as they defeated the Czech-Slovak pair Frantisek Cermak and Filip Polasek 6-3 6-2 in the final.

This was Marach’s 12th title, whereas Peya has got 2 to his name now.

Marach and Peya played very strongly throughout the whole week without dropping a set.

Their serve proved to be the biggest strenght in the final and they managed to break the Czech-Slovak duo’s serve three times on their way to victory.

Polasek could have won his second successive title after last week’s victory with Lukas Rosol in Doha.
