Ferrer shows top form as he beats Gasguet

Fifth seed David Ferrer of Spain made his way into the 2012 Australian Open quarterfinals as he defeated the 17th seed Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-4, 6-1.

Ferrer is on top form this year, having won the Auckland title just before the start of the Australian Open.

He will now play either world no.1 Djokovic or Lleyton Hewitt for a place in the semifinals.

    TSN in Canada is ‘teasing’ us with about an hour a day, usaluly around 1 pm, and with whoever is playing in that timeslot. I’ve seen Kohlschreiber and Murray only. Otherwise it’s livestreaming for me. And merci VB for the Nalby-Nadal match.
