Czech Republic captured the Hopman Cup title as they beat France in the Final.

Both Kvitova and Berdych played some superb tennis throughout the week, winning all their singles matches.

In the final, Kvitova proved to be a bit too much for Bartoli, beating her 7-5 6-1.

In the men’s encounter, the former Wimbledon finalist Tomas Berdych contributed with a 7-6 (0) 6-4 win over Gasguet to seal the victory for the Czechs.

The Czech duo beat Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki and Frederik Nielsen in the semis and France defeated Spain’s Anabel Medina Garrigues and Fernando Verdasco.
