World no.1 pair Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan captured their second title in Sydney as they defeated Jarkko Nieminen of Finland and Matt Ebden of Australia 6-1 6-4 in the final of the Apia International.

This was the best possible start for the brothers just before the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year.

Jarkko Nieminen had an amazing week as he won the singles competition, beating Julien Benneteau in the final.

But the Bryan Brothers didn’t give their opponents too many chances as they eased to a straight sets victory. They will try to win the 12th Grand Slam title of their career at Melbourne Park in the next couple of weeks.
