Roger Federer reached the final at the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in London, as he beat Spain’s David Ferrer 7-5 6-3 in an hour and 25 minutes.

He will play the 100th final of his career and will have the chance to win the 70th title on Sunday.

His opponent will be Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who beat Czech Tomas Berdych 6-3 7-5 in the other semis.

Federer has now beated Ferrer in all of their 12 meetings and he becomes only the third player in history to play in the year end championships final seven or more times.
