Sampras beats Agassi in Champions Series in LA

Former world no.1 Pete Sampras won his fifth Champions Series title, beating Andre Agassi 8-6 in the final in Los Angeles.

Sampras eliminated Jim Courier 7-6 (3) in the semis and Agassi defeated John McEnroe 6-3.

With 1,000 points, Sampras is now the leader in the rankings, Chang is second. There are four more events left.
