British no.1 Andy Murray is against the players strike over the busy schedule tennis calendar.

Today, he said: “When I said it was a possibility, I didn’t expect that to be such a massive issue. It’s so far away from being at that level.”

Although the trio Murray, Nadal and Roddick were contemplating to take further steps and call a players meeting at the Shanghai Rolex Masters this week, this has now been ruled out, also partly because of withdrawals of Djokovic and Federer from the tournament.
