Wimbledon 2011 champion Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic advanced into the quarterfinals of Generali Ladies Linz as she overcame Patricia Mayr-Achleitner of Austria 6-2, 6-3.

The top seed Czech will now play Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia, who defeated Ksenia Pervak of Russia in three sets 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.

Jelena Jankovic of Serbia also made her way into the quarterfinals, beating the Brit Anne Keothavong 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.

Dominika Cibulkova also got into the quarters after coming back from a set down against Sara Errani of Italy, winning 6-7 (1), 6-2, 6-1.
