Haas wins opener at Stockholm Open

Tommy Haas of Germany won his first round match at the Stockholm Open as he defeated Somdev Devvarman 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Also through is Philipp Petzschner after he eliminated Lukasz Kubot of Poland 6-2, 7-5.

First seed in Stockholm is Gael Monfils of France and the second seed is the Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro.

2010 champion Swiss Federer is not attending the tournament this year.
