Defending champion Novak Djokovic withdraws from China Open

World nr.1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the China Open due to a back injury that he suffered in the Davis Cup semifinal match against Argentina’s Del Potro.

He may also miss the Shanghai Masters that starts in two weeks time. As Djokovic said, the injury is not serious but requires rest.
