Mardy Fish Clinches Olympus US Open Series Title

American Mardy Fish secured himself the US Open Series title by beating Richard Gasquet 7-5, 7-5 in the round of 16 at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati. He will now have the chance to compete for the biggest payout in tennis history when he enters the US Open next week – $2.8 million ($1.8 million for winning the US Open and a $1 million bonus for winning the US Open and the Olympus US Open Series)
